php-mdb2-schema software package provides XML based database schema manager, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install php-mdb2-schema
php-mdb2-schema is installed in your system.
Make ensure the php-mdb2-schema package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep php-mdb2-schema *
You will get with php-mdb2-schema package name, version, architecture and description in a table
